Jewell Historical Society
Jewell Junction Railroad Depot

Serving you from the junction of Yesterday and Tomorrow!

The Iowa Hamilton County town of Jewell, which was also known as Jewell Junction for being located
at the junction of two railroads, is located at the northern junction of US Highway 69 and Iowa Highway 175.

The Jewell museum building, located at the intersection of Johnson & Deckor Streets, will be open again for members and visitors
next summer each Sunday afternoon.   To have the museum open for a special visit or an event, please call Dick Steffen, our curator.
Guests are also welcomed to join us at our monthly board meetings in the museum at 3pm the third Monday of each month except December.

We would like you to come and browse our collection
and to join us as a member, and also view our Featured Image . . . . or try some Fun Stuff
