There is always work to do.
To allow the Jewell Historical
Society museum building to be fully accessible,
the front steps needed to be
removed and then replaced.
December, 2020 - Mission Accomplished (and paid for) !
There always have been ongoing projects, like work to rebuild our West doorway.
Our Southwest doorway has now been rebuilt.
Due to help from Ron Cook, the chair lift has now been installed.
Jewell historian Dick Steffen, curator for Jewell Historical Society, worked with the folks of Jewell A Main Street Community (formerly JADE) to provide the community with a historic tour of four vaults located in downtown Jewell. Dick gave a historic tour of new and old vaults still located in downtown Jewell.
Thanks to funding from these organizations, work continues on our facilities.
