Page 5 - Sidewalk between the pool and the Scouthouse under construction

Remove the grass and soil, and dig a pathway for the new sidewalk.
Many Scouts help Wayne on his Eagle Project.
Scouts need to make the stakes and cut the lumber to prepare forms for the concrete.
After the concrete is poured between the lumber forms,
it will need to be leveled with a screed board.
The truck bringing the concrete arrives and begins to pour.
The forms for the sidewalk near the Municipal Pool
are framed.
Seen in the background is South Hamilton School and
the front of the pool house.
The last of the needed concrete is poured to join the new sidewalk with the pool walkway.
More preparation by Wayne, the Eagle candidate.
Wayne's maternal grandfather, Richard Staples, helps by putting a smooth surface on the sidewalk with a float.
